Senior Hydrologist
Dr Ashish is a Senior Hydrologist with the Research and Development team at CSEI. His specialisation is in surface and ground water hydrology. Furthermore, he is interested in making remote sensing datasets suitable for hydrological and agricultural planning at the local/regional scale.
Prior to joining CSEI, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Guelph in Canada, where he was responsible for establishing a flood forecasting system. He served as a Principal Project Scientist in the Water Resource Department at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Ashish obtained his PhD in water resources and remote sensing from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He received his Master's degree from the Department of Hydrology at the Indian Institute of Roorkee. Ashish is a graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur.
